The firm began in 1981 as the Law Offices of Lawrence E. Nelson, located in beautiful downtown Puyallup. Mr. Nelson established the firm’s reputation for its dedication to clients, outstanding service, and community involvement. Over the years, Mr. Nelson enhanced the firm by adding attorneys and staff with unique experience that applies directly to advising and serving our clients. As a matter of fact, our attorneys had successful careers, before they became attorneys. Having “been there” adds great depth to our ability to advise our clients. The Firm became Nelson & Carver, P.S. in 2005 when Mr. Nelson and Mary Gail Carver formally announced their partnership.  The firm became Nelson & Allen, P.S. in 2019, when Mr. Nelson announced his partnership with Jeffrey Allen, following Ms. Carver’s retirement in 2018.  After the unfortunate passing of our founding partner, we welcomed Daniel Walk to the firm and announced that the firm would be known as Nelson Allen Walk, PLLC.  Jeff and Dan both grew up right here in Puyallup and are excited to continue a partnership not only with one another but also with the community just as Mr. Nelson envisioned and embodied!
